A Cork secondary school has received €8.2 million in funding towards the completion of their new extension.
Christ the King Girls Secondary School in Turner's Cross has received the grant towards the project, which will see the addition of four new classrooms, two new specialist rooms, in addition to new technology and art rooms.
Three of the existing science labs will also be refurbished.
