The new roles are predominately in the life sciences manufacturing sector and will boost the firm's workforce across Ireland to over 1,800 people
The first phase of the recruitment drive for 100 jobs in the life science manufacturing team will begin immediately.
The roles on offer include experienced engineers, project managers as well as business and data science analysts.
Cognizant say they are also partnering with universities to offer graduate roles at their sites and offices in Cork and around the country.
