Another tweet read "For every minute of air time taken up on the papal conclave I'm gonna get an abortion".
The Independent reports the tweets were discovered by the news website Gript, which was launched last year with funding from the anti-abortion lobby.
A spokeswoman for the Social Democrats told the paper the posts were from seven years ago and "clearly..weren't the best-advised
tweets."
