A Cork TD says he is "incredibly disappointed" at the lack of progress on a new building for a secondary school in the city.
Donnchadh Ó Laoghaire told the Dáil that the Cork Educate Together Secondary School currently shares a building with Griffith College on Wellington Road and has been looking for a permanent site for around 6 years.
The Sinn Féin Education spokesman says it's costing the Department of Education up to €90,000 a year to transport students to the 400-student school.
Speaking in the Dáil Deputy Ó Laoghaire says the Department should make submitting a planning application a top priority.
