The Echo reports Sinn Féin deputy Thomas Gould says the funeral cortege and mass were conducted in line with public health guidance.
The North's First and Deputy First Ministers are due to speak to reporters this afternoon following the controversial funeral on Tuesday, which was attended by hundreds of people.
Sinn Fein's Michelle O’Neill insisted it was in line with Covid 19 guidelines and has rejected calls to apologise and stand down.
