Cork is under a Yellow Weather until 6'o clock tomorrow evening.
Heavy rain and thunderstorms are forecast for Munster and Connaught with a warning of spot flooding in places
That's according to meteorologist Deirdre Lowe of Met Éireann.
Speaking to RedFM News, Deirdre says high ground in West Cork will likely get the worst of the weather:
"The higher ground in West Cork will have the highest rainfall totals over the weekend. So, I think by the time the weekend is out, some of the hills in the west of Cork could have 60 or 70 millimetres of rain and about 30 to 35 millimetres elsewhere, so certainly plenty of rain or showers to come".
