The hospital says it is experiencing delays
The Emergency Department is particularly overcrowded this afternoon.
In a statement issued to RedFM News, CUH confirmed the ED has seen an increased level of activity and admissions over the past number of days.
Hospital management at CUH have requested that, where appropriate, the public contact their GP, South Doc, the Local Injury Units and explore all other options available to them prior to attending the Emergency Department.
