A sit in protest by a small group of cost of living activists at the Bord Gais offices on the outskirts of the city this morning has ended.
The group staged a sit in at the Cork Airport Business Park earlier calling for an end to high prices as they say the company's profits increased hugely over the last 12 months.
The Cost of Living Coalition activists claim that the company has introduced five price increases since last year and say any credits announced by the Government in the Budget will be swallowed up by the price rises.
The group also moved to highlight this Saturday's Cost of Living Protest gathering on the Grand Parade at 2pm.
