The County Council is asking the people of Midleton to give their opinions on the area's proposed Flood Relief Scheme.

The Council says that their research predicts 400 homes and 180 businesses are at serious risk of flooding during future events.

They will hold an Open Day in the Midleton Park Hotel on Thursday, 28th of July between 2 and to 8 o'clock in the evening, for the public to examine the proposals and give their feedback.

The Open Day is open to all.
