Lifeguards carried out 21 rescues, reunited 23 lost children with their families and helped 940 people with first aid on the county's 12 beaches.
39 full time lifeguards were on duty from the first weekend in June to the 12th of September.
The Council are encouraging people to stay safe if visiting the coast this autumn and winter and are asking the public to call 112 or 999 if they see someone in difficulty in or near the water.
