Courtmacsherry RNLI went to the aid of two people on speedboats in West Cork after 8pm last night.
Crews rushed to the water off Blind Strand on the Seven Heads coastline after receiving a mayday message from one of the boats, which was in danger of sinking.
A local man in a boat nearby was first on the scene and pulled one speedboat away from the rocky shore and helped bail out water from the second.
The boats arrived back at Courtmacsherry pier at 9:40pm.
