A crash involving a car and a van has closed off Patrick's Street in the city.
It happened around 10.30am this morning.
Gardaí, the fire service and the national ambulance service are still at the scene close to Dunnes Stores.
Gardaí say the road is closed to traffic.
In a statement to RedFM News, Gardaí said:
"Gardaí and emergency services are currently at the scene of a road traffic collision on Patrick's Street in Cork City.The collision involving a car and a van occurred at approximately 10:30am this morning, Friday 16th February 2024.The road is closed to traffic. No further information is available at this time."
