It's to enable a long-term redevelopment plan
In total, 3.32 million euro was announced by Arts Minister Catherine Martin yesterday, which will allow the City Centre gallery to be redeveloped under the Project Ireland 2040 plan.
The Echo reports that works are set to begin on the Crawford Art Gallery in 2022, and will include larger storage space, a new entrance to the gallery, and more rooms being opened to the public.
