A crewman has been rescued from an Irish fishing vessel off the Cork coast.
Vanentia Coast Guard organised the rescue, around 170 miles southwest of Mizen Head, shortly after 4 o'clock this afternoon.
The Shannon based Coast Guard helicopter R115 airlifted the man off the boat and is flying him to Kerry University Hospital.
An Air Corps Casa Maritime Patrol Aircraft also offered support.
