The 26 year old from Doneraile in North Cork was found dead outside the Gleneagle Hotel in Killarney late on Saturday night.
A post-mortem has since been completed, the results of which will not be released for operational purposes.
Elsewhere, a 28-year-old man who died in Eagle Valley in Wilton over the weekend became unconscious following 'horseplay' with friends.
Colm Casey, originally from Macroom, was found outside a house early on Saturday morning - a criminal investigation has been launched into his death.
