Staff at Cork University Hospital say they were totally overwhelmed by the success of 6 year old Adam King's Vitual Hug cards which were released in time for Valentine's day with proceeds going to two children's charities at CUH and Temple Street.
The little boy from East Cork - who stole the nation's hearts after he appeared on the Late Late Toy Show - extended his virtual hug to the nation through the distribution of his Hug Cards through SuperValu and Centra stores
Staff and patients at CUH repaid the love by writing their own messages to Adam within the cards which are to be delievered to him in a show of appreciation.
