Events will take place online and in person for this year's Culture Night which takes place on September 17th.
The initiative by the Arts Council is an all-island public event celebrating culture and creativity.
Here in Cork organisers say despite the challenges this year for Culture Night, organisers and venues have created over 100 events which they describe as a huge testament to the creativity and dedication of the Arts Sector in Cork.
Many events are taking place online, through livestreams, and pieces pre-recorded specially for the night and there are a number of live in-person events happening in venues around the city, both indoors and outdoors.
Culture Night coordinator, Maria Moynihan Lee, is advising people to search online for local events.

"Every element of the programme, every event that you can engage with, every venue that you can go to will have its own set of guidelines for how to book tickets or how to engage with their own activity.
"Quite a bit is both online and offline."
