Crawford Art Gallery is set to be open until the later time of 11pm next week, to allow for late events in celebration of Culture Night.
The gallery have extended invitations to anyone who is curious about culture or simply want to explore the Crawford collection.
Events will begin in the afternoon, with something for both young and old audiences, including puppet tours, sketching in the drawing room, and a number of exhibitions.
Volcano Wood Fired pizza will also be on site, as well as a range of live music performances.
Dyane Hanrahan, Marketing and Communications Manager says:
“Culture night is always a great night at Crawford Art Gallery and both staff and visitors love to on this special night. We are open later this year and so we can accommodate more visitors and contribute to the night time economy in Cork city. Some of our events must be prebooked from the 12th September but all of our events are free. Possible through funding by our Parent Department. We are delighted to have fantastic exhibitions , a lively programme of music, workshops, tours and screenings which will appeal to many visitors young and old.’
