Customers supplied by Macroom Public Water Supply are being reminded that a Boil Water Notice will remain in place until further notice.
The Notice is a precautionary measure due to the water supply appearing cloudy.
It affects approximately 4,200 people.
If any customer is unsure on whether or not the Boil Water Notice applies to their area, Irish Water and Cork County Council are asking them to contact a 24-hour helpline on 1800 278 278.
They say they are working to lift the notice as quickly and as safely as possible.
Water must be boiled for: drinking, food preparation, brushing teeth, and making ice-cubes.
