The march is ahead of a Dáil debate on the dispute between them and their former employer.

A motion in support of the workers is being brought before TDs by Solidarity People Before Profit as the industrial action moves towards its 16th week.

The motion is also calling on the Government to instruct the Revenue Commissions and other state agencies to put money owed to them by the liquidator towards an improved redundancy package for employees.

Debenhams staff have been blockading their former stores since April and say they will not accept the statutory minimum redundancy of two weeks per year of service.

Over 330 full and part time staff lost their jobs at two Debenhams stores in Cork when the company closed 11 Irish stores.

A Dáil vote on the Solidarity motion will take place tomorrow.
