Frasers opened at Mahon Point Shopping Centre today.
The British retailer opened in place of Debenhams in the shopping centre at midday.
The group name is reported by the Irish Examiner to have interest in Debenhams other former store on St Patrick’s Street in Cork, which is on the market for around €20 million.
Retail experts say the products are pitched at a market level above the Debenhams range and just below Brown Thomas.
