Drivers are urged to slow down this morning after heavy rainfall in Cork overnight.
A Status Orange rain warning remains in place for Cork and Kerry until midday, with a yellow alert also in effect for Waterford and Galway.
There's been a collision in Leap in West Cork and emergency services are at the scene.
David Martin from the Road Safety Authority is warning of very difficult conditions:
"With the flooding in Cork and Kerry, if the road ahead is flooded choose another route. Don't ever attempt to drive through it, some roads can appear shallow sometimes but they're usually deeper than you think. So slow down, be careful fugitive lights as well. I just take extra cautious is going to be it's going to be tricky."
