It's part of over €550 million announced for national road and greenway projects today by TII.
€3 million is being made available for improvement works on the Annakisha South section of the N73 Mitchelstown to Mallow road, while over €1.5 million has been allocated for the stretch from Clogher Cross to Waterdyke on the same route.
€800,000 was also announced for the N25 Midleton to Youghal Scheme which includes plans for bypasses around Castlemartyr and Killeagh.
Funding is also being provided for the Dunkettle Interchange, the N22 Ballyvourney to Macroom road and over 70 greenway projects including the Midleton to Youghal greenway.
