An update on flood relief measures for Midleton was outlined in the Dail last night

Minister of State for European Affairs & Defence Peter Burke says funding is in place for the town's €50 million flood relief scheme which will protect 580 properties and can give back flood insurance to the town
He says the next major step is to start the planning consent process early next year
