Fire Control confirmed to RedFM News that two units of the fire service from Midleton were called to the Anngrove building just after 1pm.
It's believed the incident, which is reported to be a fire on the roof, is under control.
Workers are also reported to have been evacuated from the building.
The Health and Safety Authority have confirmed to RedFM News that they are aware of an incident at the plant and have launched an investigation.
The spokesperson said no further information is available at this time.
RedFM News has also contacted Stryker and Garda Press for a statement.
Motorists are advised to be cautious as traffic is heavy in the area.
