The RNLI and Irish Coastguard Helicopter arrived after 3pm
It's believed a man got into trouble after diving into the water at the popular jumping spot near Kinsale.
The latest reports indicate the Coastguard Rescue Helicopter 115, RNLI lifeboat, and ambulance crew arrived on the scene shortly after 3pm this afternoon.
It's believed the Coastguard Helicopter has since left the area and flown in the direction of Cork University Hospital.
