An enhanced bus route will operate for the Elton John concert in Páirc Uí Chaoimh today.
The 202 will run every ten minutes from Lapps Quay to Monahan Road from 5pm to 8.30pm, with doors for the concert opening at 6pm.
Organisers of the event say Sir Elton is very punctual and with no support act, the concert will commence at 8pm sharp.
Speaking to RedFM News, James Hallahan from Garda Traffic Management says parking in the city centre is advised:
"We would advise people coming to the Elton John concert on Friday night to use the carpark facilities in the city centre. There is no parking at the venue unless your ticket specifically states that there is at the venue. So we would ask people to park in the city center and walk down, and we will be very much for enforcing that."
