Relatives of residents at a nursing home in Cork will hold protests today outside the offices of senior Government Ministers.
They'll demonstrate from 11 o'clock this morning, saying residents are being forced out of Beaumont Residential Care.
They want Tánaiste Micheál Martin, Finance Minister Michael McGrath and Enterprise Minister Simon Coveney to intervene in a dispute over future funding.
John Murphy, whose father is a resident, says they're concerned that those under Fair Deal will be turfed out.
"It's come to a head at this stage, because my father is a 99 year old man, he's in Beaumont for the last three years and very, very happy.
"If the Government don't step up to the plate and give us more funding for all our relatives, then they could all be in danger in the Fair Deal scheme, which is not a fair deal, and could be asked to leave the care homes."
