A family of 6 from Skibbereen says the lack of communication from Aer Lingus ruined their family holiday.
It comes after a flight from Malaga to Cork Airport was cancelled on Thursday due to the ongoing strike action by Aer Lingus pilots.
Eugenia Humston spent €3,500 on new flights for her family just before Aer Lingus organised a new flight almost 24 hours later.
Speaking to RedFM News, Eugenia says the flight cancellation caused severe stress to passengers:
"It was shocking. it was the complete lack of communication. Nobody knew and it's not just me and our family that I'm saying, that the six of us were so precious, absolutely not like I mean, there was a lot worse off than us, small babies in buggies, hysterical, they needed feeding, changing. It was horrible, and it was the complete lack of communication from Aer Lingus."
