43 year old John Keaveney, who is from Dublin, was holidaying in East Cork with his family when he suffered an epileptic seizure last Sunday week and they rushed him to Cork University Hospital for treatment. He had a second seizure while in hospital and was due to stay in hospital overnight

His family believe he became disorientated and discharged himself from hospital and went to Wilton Shopping Centre to buy a charger for his mobile phone
John was later picked up on CCTV around Patrick Street and it's know he went into a local pub as he needed to charge his phone

Gardai say he was last seen shortly after midnight on Monday 21st of August in the MacCurtain Street area

John is described as being 5'9" in height and has a slim build. He has brown eyes and is bald.

When last seen, John was wearing a pair of navy trousers, a grey Umbro hoodie with the Irish soccer logo and white runners.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact their local Garda station
