A Fermoy family say they fear the worst if a greenway between Mallow and Dungarvan goes ahead
A section of the greenway would run through Cleona O'Shea's family farm, cutting it in half
The families impacted by the plans say there has been very little communication on the proposed greenway which they fear will lead to land devaluation and difficulties accessing livestock
Speaking to RedFM News Cleona O'Shea says they are not opposed to Greenways where the existing infrastructure exists
"There's no problem with a Greenway on existing infrastructure, like the Midleton one or the Waterford one - all those lines were still intact. There was still in state ownership. This one - 90% of it is now in private ownership. That rail line closed in 1967"
