New figures are highlighting the high number of fatal crashes on the Cork to Limerick road.
Limerick City and County Council says the figures show that drivers are more likely to be injured on the N20 than on any other national road in the county.
The proportion of fatal collisions to all personal injury collisions on the road is 8% - four times higher than the national average.
Three road users lost their lives on the road in 2019 while four people died in 2020.
