The Finance Minister says an internal Government disagreement over income tax cuts has been resolved.
Michael McGrath says it's time to 'draw a line under' the reported Fine Gael-Fianna Fáil feud, and stick to the budgetary process.
Last week three Fine Gael Ministers called for a one thousand euro tax incentive for middle income workers, which led to a rift within the coalition.
Minster Michael McGrath says this has since been resolved:
"I think it's time to draw a line under that I think the public wants us now, to focus on the issues that really matter to them. The budget is still four months away. Last evening, both I and Minister O'Donoghue met with the party leaders, set out the current economic context, which really sets the framework for the summer economic statement, which then essentially provides the guardrails for budget 2024. So now it's about sticking to the process."
