A woman who pleaded guilty to possessing stolen hanging flower baskets traced back to her home with a tracking device has been fined €200.

45-year-old Mary O’Driscoll of Ballea Road, Carrigaline appeared before the District Court today.

The court previously heard a community group in Killeagh put Apple Air Tags into a basket after flowers went missing the previous year.

O’Driscoll’s solicitor said she was pleading guilty to the charge of being in possession of the baskets, knowing or being reckless as to whether they were stolen.
