The first payments to flood damaged homes and businesses in East Cork have been made.
The Government-supported Red Cross 'Emergency Flood Relief Scheme' gives up to 100,000 euro to businesses affected by Storm Babet - to replace flooring, fixtures, fittings and stock.
The scheme caters to small businesses of up to 20 employees who were operational at the time of the flooding.
Several more applications are currently being processed.
Businesses have until Friday, the 1th of December to apply.
Affected homes can get support under the Humanitarian Assistance Scheme, which is ran by the local Community Welfare Service.
