The City Council say very high spring tides will cause some flooding in low lying areas of the city.

High tides this evening, and Tuesday morning and evening, are predicted to cause minor localised flooding along low lying quays, however high tide at 6:21am Wednesday has the potential to cause significant flooding in the City.

People are being advised to take the necessary precautions to protect their property.

A limited stock of gel bags and sand bags are available from the Council Depot on Anglesea Terrace and Tramore Valley Park.

The Council's Flood Assessment Team is monitoring the situation extremely closely and will continue to issue updates as needed.

High Tides
Monday 17:09

Tuesday 05:33 and 17:57

Wednesday 06:21 and 18:43
