A High Tide Advisory is in place this morning and will last until Monday evening.

Cork County Council is taking steps to prepare for flooding as Met Éireann has issued the warning.

A period of supermoon spring tides, expected to be one of the highest this year, are the main driver for the elevated and high coastal levels over the weekend.

Met Éireann has issued the High Tide Advisory, with coastal levels expected to be HIGH for southern coasts tomorrow.

Cork County Council has activated its protocol, with pumping arrangements deployed at locations affected by such forecasted conditions.

Property owners and residents at known coastal risk areas are advised to take the usual precautions for this High Tide Advisory.
