A protest is being held on O'Connell Street in Dublin from 5pm as part of an international campaign by workers for better pay.
The action is expected to last for five hours.
Drivers for the likes of UberEats, Deliveroo and Just Eat are expected to stop delivering from 5pm this Valentine's Day.
It is understood that food delivery workers are now paid as little as €1 per order in some cases.
