A former postman who interfered with thousands of items of mail in Cork when he was suffering from addiction has received a 2 year suspended sentence.
Seán Hogan of The Quays, Main Street in Passage West was stopped at a Garda checkpoint in Innishannon on the 27th of January 2022 and Gardaí found a large amount of post in the car.
The 39 year old former postman pleaded guilty to charges related to theft as well as interfering with mail at Cork Circuit Criminal Court yesterday.
