Four men are being quizzed at Garda stations across North Cork as part of an operation targeting violent disorder incidents in Charleville
Cannabis, slash hooks, machetes, golf clubs, and two suspected petrol bombs were all seized in a series of searches
Gardaí today conducted the search and arrest operation with the assistance of a number of other agencies including Cork County Drugs Units and Revenue Customs personnel.
Seven houses In the Charleville area were searched in the course of the operation.
Gardaí seized quantities of cannabis and 30 implements, including slash hooks, machetes, golf clubs, and the recovery of two suspected petrol bombs.
Four men ranging in age from 18 to 40, have been arrested as part of the investigation into violent disorder incidents in Cork on December 16th and January 8th.
Investigations are ongoing
