A fresh appeal for information has been issued in relation to the murder of a man in North Cork in 2015
Peter Murphy was found dead at his rural home in Shanavoher, between the village of Bweeng and Mallow on September 7, 2015.
He had been living alone at the time and had last spoken to his family two days earlier.
A post mortem concluded that he died from injuries inflicted as a result of an assault.
Gardaí launched a murder investigation but no one has ever been brought to justice.
