A Gaelscoil in Ballincollig says it is aware of 100 confirmed cases of Covid-19 among its 765 students since the mid-term break.
It comes as primary schools across the country remain under pressure amid the ongoing surge in daily infections.
The Irish Examiner reports the cases were spread across 10 classes in Gaelscoil Uí Ríordáin over the last four weeks, with no staff cases reported.
Parents of students in the affected classes have been informed, the school has been in contact with public health doctors and strict public health measures are in place.
RedFM news has requested a statement from the school.
