Gardaí at the Bridewell are investigating after a man broke into the Mercy University Hospital in the early hours of Friday morning.
The Irish Examiner is reporting that the intruder that apparently used a fire-extinguisher to break through a locked fire door.
In a statement to RedFM News, a Garda Spokesperson said man "caused Criminal Damage" but that "No arrests" have been made " at this time" and that "investigations are ongoing".
