A Garda investigation has been launched after a large fire overnight at the derelict Sunset Ridge Hotel at Kileens.
Fire crews from the city and county spent the night damping down the blaze at the derelict building.
The alarm was raised just before 6-30 pm last evening and fire crews responded and remained at the scene overnight .
The hotel was placed on the derelict sites register last year.
