A woman in her 40's sustained serious injuries after she was struck by a car in Kanturk on Friday evening
The woman was walking along the Mill Road around 4.30pm when the incident occurred
She was rushed to Cork University Hospital for treatment
No arrests have been made but Garda investigations are ongoing
