Teams of gardai involved in the investigation into the disappearance of a 47 year-old man in the city are conducting searches in Little Island
Kieran Quilligan went missing, close to the city centre, in the St Finbarr’s Place area, on the night of the first of September.
His bank account and phone show no activity since he was last spotted and he has not collected any social welfare payments.
This afternoon Gardai have begun carrying out searches on open land and along the coastline adjacent to Courtstown Industrial Estate in Little Island
Earlier this week Gardaí revealed that they have spoken to the man with whom Kieran Qulligan was was last seen - and are asking anyone who has any information on his disappearance to contact them.
