Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a woman in her 70s was killed when she was hit by a truck in Charleville.
The incident happened on the town’s main street at around 3:45pm yesterday.
Emergency services were called to Main Street Charleville following the incident however the pedestrian in her 70s was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road was closed for a forensic collision investigation and Gardaí in Mallow are asking anyone with camera footage from the area between 3:30 and 4pm to make the footage available to them.
The woman is the 6th road user to lose their life on Cork roads since the start of the year.
