William 'Bill' O'Driscoll was last seen at his home at 4pm on Tuesday the 21st of February.
He is described as being around six foot tall, bald and with a stocky build and blue eyes.
He was wearing black Adidas tracksuit bottoms and a blue jacket with a hood.
William is known to frequent the city centre.
His family are concerned for his welfare and Gardaí are asking anyone with any information to contact them in Gurranabraher on 021 494 62 00.
