Gardaí are still at the scene of a serious crash that happened in Clonakilty in the early hours of this morning.
The single vehicle collison happened at 15 minutes after midnight on the N71 between Clonakilty and Ballinascarthy.
The road is closed and diversions are in place.
"Gardaí are at the scene of a serious road traffic collision in Clonakilty, Co. Cork that occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, 14th January 2025.
Gardaí and emergency services were alerted to the single vehicle collision on the N71 in Clonakilty town at approximately 12:15am.
The road is currently closed and local diversions are in place.
