A Garda investigation is continuing after a human skull was found in a plastic bag in West Cork.
A couple clearing their garden in Eyeries found the partial human remains on Friday afternoon.
Irish Times Southern Correspondent Barry Roche told the Neil Prendeville Show it's possible the skull could be historic:
"I was talking to one or two of the Gardai involved and and it doesn't look like there was any blunt force trauma involved, it doesnn't look like there was any attempt made to hide the bag, and as well it may be historic."
